Great performers! In my opinion the piece is nothing extraordinary. Well written for the instrument bu rather unimaginative. It's a Prokofiev -Katchaturian-Ibert wannabe.

Great performance. My only comment is to continue to strive for an even darker sound on your lower register. Technically and tone wise you exhibit excellence! Bravo! Your pianist was very fine also although I believe she could have used a "wetter pedal" especially in the slower parts with low bass octaves to create a "veiled" effect.

What an incredibly "smooth" flute sound. Just gorgeous. The pianist also did a "lovely" job. I am playing this with Pamela Whitman in a few weeks at the Ocean City Community center and we simply look forward to doing this piece.
